Set Objectives Every Step of the Way
This might sound like a broken record to some but it really is repeated over and over again because of its importance. Setting goals for a year or month is a long forgotten step because successful people are now indulging in setting weekly or daily or even hourly goals. Ticking off tasks from your schedule can be highly satisfying and once you start marking them off from your To-Do list, you will realize how surreal that feeling is. Jot down your tasks for the day or week and attach a timeline or duration to them in which they have to be completed. Check your emails every morning and compare them to the task of the day. By the end of the week, double check if you have achieved everything or if something needs to be revised or improved upon. At the end, you will end up with a list of achievements that you will be proud of.
A Clear Inbox for a Peaceful Mind
Spend 5-10 minutes of your morning to check, reply or access your inbox and then again at the end of the day to do the same. If an inbox item will take 2 or less than 2 minutes, deal with it without delay. Reply to the message, file it into a respective folder or share it with another individual if required.
